Coastal Condo Retreat: 3BR 2.5BA in Deerfield

The host was very proactive on how to access to the unit prior to our check-in and we were extremely happy with the state of the unit upon arrival. Very clean and welcoming, with a welcome book on how to connect to WiFi, control temperature, how to handle trash disposal, and check out procedure's; all extremely helpful. This is a very good place to rent alone from its proxitmty to restaurants and other needs, easy access to community amenities as well, outdoor space and shared pool. We will be looking to book here again in the future.

Relaxing with some dissappointments. Negative: Renters before us left a large mess resulting in a 3 hour delayed check in and less then exceptional cleaning with floors and counters still having a film of 'sticky' on them which we cleaned ourselves. Compensation was requested for the self cleaning required plus later than prommissed check-in. No follow up was provided after this request beyond, "we'll see what the owners say" and no further acknowledgement whilst requesting a 5-star review. It was not 5-star service nor conditions. The canned 5-star ask should have been omitted and been more reflective of these concerns. Pillows in one of the rooms were older, flat and too big for the cases. Laundry facilities had mold issues on the washer seal and the entire room was dirty beyond what the last guests would have been responsible for. Over all it was a fantastic spot but the unit looked a little tired with minimal coffee supplies including no basics like sugar. I did leave ours behind for the next guests.

Pool was awesome. Access to the pool from the living room was perfect.
